Oysho
Designing the new menu, grid page of products and filter system in a sport ecommerce
2022 -2023
What's this about?
Oysho is a Spanish clothing retailer that specializes in women's lingerie, loungewear, sportswear and beachwear. It is known for its trendy designs, comfortable fabrics, and affordable prices. Oysho has stores worldwide and offers a wide range of products.
The purpose of this project was to reorganize the different categories and subcategories of the main menu and redesign the product grid and associated filters.
Through prior research, pain points were identified among users due to the complex labeling and categorization system.
The challenge was to reorganize the categories and design a new visually appealing menu, along with a product grid and filters that would align with the users' mental model.
The previously identified problems were addressed, taking into account the dynamic nature of the timelines in a textile retail environment (sales, Black Friday, etc.).
All of this had to be done for three interfaces: Desktop, Mobile, and App.
My role
As a member of the UX/UI team at Sngular within Oysho, I served as a Senior UX Designer, proposing a new categorization in the information architecture alongside the research team based on the results of the previous analysis.
After the conceptualization work, the initial drafts of the new menu were created, presenting three proposals with different interaction models. One of them was selected, and I developed the high-fidelity prototyping and animations for both the menu and the product grid (with various product visualization types) and the filter (taking into account the specificities of each product).
